THE TAKEAWAY MEAL: Wednesday, the 21st is this week! That's when we will start our second year of distributing a meal to the clients of the Paper Pantry. As we did last March, we will serve chili with corn bread. It was one of the favorites. Food preparation and packaging will start on Tuesday the 20th at 9:00 AM. and will continue on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Meal distribution begins at 12:45. We look forward to seeing you! As always we need lots of cookies and brownies (NO NUTS). Please bring the cookies and brownies to the Common Room kitchen on Monday, the 19th or to Nelson Hall by 9:30 on the 20th. The Sign Up sheet is on the table in the Common Room. If you wish to make a financial contribution, please indicate on your donation that it is for the Takeaway Meal. If you have questions, you may contact Richard or Kathleen Banks, Betty Logan, Meredith Kreuger, or Elizabeth Rixham.

SIGN UP NOW: Supper of the Lamb - March 29th at 6 P.M., Nelson Hall - Lamb Dinner/Pot Luck Side Dishes (please no desserts), followed by the Stripping of the altar. R.S.V.P. by signing-up on the sheet available in the Common Room or calling the church office 508-394-4222.

It’s that time of Year!! EASTER SUNDAY IS APRIL 1st! Rev. Sonny Gada is asking for donations of candy for the Easter egg hunt. Lots of eggs to fill! Please see Sonny with your donation or drop off at the office. Deadline is TODAY. Blessings, pastor Sonny.

DYECH CARING CARDS: I have a feeling most of you have experienced being without power and being cold!! These past few weeks have been a real test of endurance! Think of the homeless who deal with that all the time. Remember, DYECH is about Homeless Prevention....we want to keep people in their homes with their utility bills paid so they don’t become cold!! Purchasing cards from DYECH every week makes it convenient for you and we give a percentage of our sales to HAC to help folks (and perhaps our neighbors) remain housed. Remember, in February DYECH gave $3,250 to HAC, the most of that coming from our Caring Card Sales. See you after both services. Claire Tyner, Sec., DYECH

FOOD BASKET REPORT: Last week on FOCUS SUNDAY, we collected a total of 71 items. That gives us a total of 113 so far for March. That's a little on the low side but I expect as the weather improves, our numbers will also. At this time, the Hands of Hope Food Pantry needs: Rice and Pasta Roni, Chef Boyardee, Baked Beans, Canned Pineapple, Macaroni, Canned Hash or Chili, Canned Milk, Oatmeal, Spam, Jelly, Canned Corn, Soup, and Pasta Sauce. If you wish to contribute financially, please indicate on the donation that it is for the Food Pantry. Thank you so much for your support. Elizabeth Rixham.

APRIL HOUSE CHURCH: The next House Church will be held at 6:30 pm on April 12 at the home of Hillary Landers 15 Tamoshanter Way South Yarmouth (508) 274-2563 Please sign-up in the Commons Room or call Hillary at (508) 274-2563. For more information about House Church, please call David Halvorsen at (508) 348-1225 Please join us for another time to gather for teaching and communion with Andi Taylor in an informal house setting.

SAVE THE DATE! Fri. July 6th, 4-8; Sat., July 7th, 9-2; Sun. July 8th, 12-2 Clearance. No, not a wedding, anniversary, or birthday celebration. --ST. DAVID'S SUMMER FAIR! It is time to start cleaning out and setting aside all your best contributions for the white elephant tables, trying new recipes (gluten and/or sugar free) for the bake sale, rooting new houseplants and surveying which perennials can be divided this spring for the plant sale. Donations may be dropped off to Nelson Hall beginning Thursday June 29. Please set aside time in your calendar to help sort and price June 29-July 6, and to help sell during the fair. It's a lot of fun and a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know other parishioners. (The hall is air conditioned!!!) Thank you and God Bless. Marsha Fredericks
